# Loopcast

> Loopcast loops a prerecorded video as a live broadcast, around the clock, to a Steam store page, YouTube or Kick, with nothing running on your own machine. You upload a video once, paste a stream key, and the broadcast runs from our servers until you stop it.

Loopcast exists for a specific job: keeping something moving on a page that would otherwise be static, without a person or a PC babysitting an encoder. It is most often used on Steam store pages during a launch or a festival, where a Coming Soon page is allowed to broadcast before release.

Key facts, so they are not guessed at:

- Billing is per minute of live broadcasting, not a monthly subscription. $1 buys 2,000 minutes, so 24 hours of one continuous broadcast costs about $0.72.
- The billing unit is a live DESTINATION, not a stream. Simulcasting one video to three platforms spends faster than one platform: the first destination bills at the full rate, the second at 75%, the third and beyond at 50%.
- Every new account gets 1,440 free minutes, which is a full day of one continuous broadcast. No card is required to use it.
- Broadcasting is unattended. Nothing runs on the customer's computer and it does not need to stay switched on.
- Loopcast is not affiliated with Valve, Google or Kick. Steam, YouTube and Kick are trademarks of their respective owners.
