How to broadcast 24/7 during Steam Next Fest

22 Jun 2026 · 4 min read

Steam Next Fest is one of the highest-traffic weeks on Steam, and store-page broadcasts get extra surface area during events. A broadcast running the whole week keeps every visitor landing on a game that is already “on”.

Why broadcasting during Next Fest matters

During events, Steam surfaces broadcasts more prominently, and a streaming schedule can reserve broadcast spots inside the event itself. A static store page simply can’t compete with a page that is visibly live.

Reserve your slots early

If the event lets you schedule broadcast slots, claim them ahead of time. Have your video transcoded and your Steam stream key ready before the fest opens so you are not scrambling on day one.

What to stream

A polished trailer or a representative gameplay loop. You do not need a live human on camera - a strong looping video carries the whole week and never gets tired.

Keep it live the entire week

Next Fest runs for days. A home PC streaming non-stop is fragile: one crash, power blip or internet hiccup and your store page goes dark at the worst possible time. Running from a datacenter with automatic restart means a dropped frame never means a dead store page.

What it costs for a 7-day fest

The $5 pack (10,080 minutes) covers a continuous 7-day (168-hour) broadcast - one minute of balance per minute on air, spent only while live. See the full breakdown in how pricing works.

Put your game live in 5 minutes
